Sandblasting is one of most effective ways to shape or strip and smooth the wood surface of any foreign material. It has an effect similar to that of using sandpaper, but provides a more even finish with no problems with corners, nooks, or crannies. Sandblasting helps to rejuvenate the wood and makes the painting process look flawless.
We have been perfecting this art for more than 40 years and we are the focused on providing the highest quality wholesale sandblasted signs for your business. We offer sandblasted signs in a variety of sizes and shapes, can offer painted or stained finish and can incorporate complex vinyl graphics or 3D into the finished artwork.
Our sandblasting equipment is perfect for any sign to do the job right. Our Professional equipment is used for large-scale projects and is extremely powerful operated by our team of trained craftsman.
The first sandblasting process was patented in the US in 1870. Sandblasting uses compressed air to “blast” fine sand through a nozzle and at the cedar wood sign. The sand quickly remove the surface of the wood not protected by template of your design, leaving a clean surface. As a cleaning method, it is often used for priming a surface for the application of paint or a sealant. When painting, you don’t want to trap dust, dirt, or bubbles in a previous layer of paint, or other imperfections under the new layer so we protect and clean all of our signs to get them ready for the next phase of production. By launching small bits of abrasive, like sand, at the surface at a high speed, all imperfections are knocked loose and can then be easily removed, creating an incredibly smooth surface which is perfect for new layer of paint for your sign. Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface.
